CanDo STUDENT COMPETENCY TRACKER CanDo is a web-based,
skill tracking application, developed by Virginia State
teachers and students for teachers and students everywhere! CanDo is built
into SchoolTool, a powerful suite of free software that helps schools manage their operations. Click here to obtain a pdf of the current CanDo-SchoolTool brochure. Project Description CanDo is a web-based, freely-distributed skills tracking program developed by teachers and students in Arlington, Virginia. It was written to help teachers track which skills their students are acquiring in their classes and at what level of competency. CanDo automatically reports skill-levels for students and the class, and issues an official Student Competency Record (SCR) for each student. Because CanDo is a web-based application, teachers and students may access the program using secure logins from anywhere they have internet access and the Mozilla Firefox web browser (a free download at www.mozilla.org).
